ARCOORA IS A GRASSROOTS ORGANISATION
Our Vision:
An ecosystem of thriving regenerative communities living in harmony with the natural world
Our Purpose:
We exist to support the emergence of regenerative culture, so that humans remember that it is fun to care for the earth!
Our Mission:
Our mission is to inspire change for a regenerative future by cultivating a network of mentors, practitioners and leaders in the earth arts, caring for country and celebrating life!
Arcoora is a volunteer run not-for-profit community organisation focused on training, support and action towards community resilience and ecological regeneration.
We are engaging multiple streams of energy, both financial and in-kind, to enable and sustain our organisation.
Our fund-raising initiatives include venue hire, events, grants, micro-enterprise, micro-loans, crowd-funding and gifting.
To get to where we are today, Arcoora Incorporated, formerly Living ARC, has relied on 100% volunteer start-up. Volunteering is viewed as an opportunity to learn new skills and connect with like-minded kin whilst gifting work in service to a collective vision.
We share our home at the former Vajradhara Gonpa with partner organisations, with an intention to maintain connection with interfaith and cross-cultural spiritual and arts practices. We host groups who facilitate rites of passage, meditation retreats, conscious dance and art workshops, yoga retreats and more.
