Kyogle Food Hub

The Kyogle Food Hub is an Arcoora initiative being set up to distribute local and organic produce to support local food producers and consumers on a path to local food sovereignty. It uses the Open Food Network platform for online ordering and a community hall as a weekly drop-off and pick-up point.

In time we aim to establish the Kyogle Food Hub as it’s own not-for profit, democratically-owned and run social enterprise. If you are interested in more details we invite you to look over the Kyogle Food Hub Proposal we have drafted.

Are you interested in participating in a Food Hub ‘Beta Program’? Over the coming months we will begin taking orders from a select group of people that will expand over time before opening access to the wider local community. This will give us a chance to become familiar with the platform, iron out any issues and get our processes and systems streamlined.

As a Beta Program participant you will need to commit to placing an order every order cycle (no minimum order) and to be available to participate in regular feedback by filling out a few more surveys so we can gauge how we are going, find out how we can improve and get a better feel for the needs of the community.
