NORTHERN RIVERS STRATEGIC BUSHFIRE AND DISASTER CONVERGENCE

Holding Hands Under Ground Incorporated (HHUG), the not-for profit association that hosts Renew Fest in Mullumbimby has launched a project to increase the ‘network capacities’ of the disaster resilience ecosystem in the Northern Rivers on the land of the Bundjalung Nation, by bringing together all stakeholders who are involved in relating to and dealing with bushfires and bushfire threats.

The goal of the Northern Rivers Strategic Bushfire and Disaster Convergence is to directly support the connections, communications, coordinations and collaborations between all the key players - all tiers of government, all types of emergency and service agencies, and the many kinds of land custodians, landholders and community groups that live and work in this region.

Arcoora is honoured to host the first Kyogle Convergence.
